The history of auras begins as far back as the first tribal shaman who saw spirit lights around his tribesmen. More familiar examples are the Christian mystics of the middle ages who described the aura as a halo or spiritual radiance.

What was once the purview of monks and mystics is now recognized and defined by science. The energies which surround and emanate from all living creatures are scientifically measurable. These energies include, but are not limited to, light, electrical, heat and thermal, sound, magnetic and electromagnetic fields.

What the Colors Mean:

White:
"Highly motivated" would best describe you. White has the qualities of all the colors, but tends to be unstable, like a supernova. Denotes a healing ability or experience for you or those around you. You could be a spiritual healer. You are not a novice, as the beauty of white light attracts all beings at every level of existence. These beings are very loving. They are there to help your evolution. A time to assist others in transition or to make transitions yourself.

Violet:
Mystical, magical and unifying would best describe you; spiritual evolution is in store for you. Violet is a mix of blue (unlimited knowledge) and red (activity>. Therefore, spiritual activity will be in your aura. Violet indicates a high degree of sensitive intimacy, leading to completion fusion between subject and object, so that everything which is thought and desired must become reality -- what you want and need comes to you as if by magic. The highest vibration frequencies will be distributed to you and you will encounter the rays of guide energies. Enchantment, charm, eroticism and deep spiritual understanding are the qualities most important to you.

Blue:
Indicates a depth of feeling; peace, love, loyalty, truth, trust, dedication, tranquillity, contentment, tenderness, and affection - the blissful fulfillment of the highest ideals of unity, at-oneness and reunion with Earth-mother. Blue is also a communication color, so you're a good listener and intuitive listener, able to transform others through loving listening. This may be a good time to learn or study. If there is a ray of guiding light, you are being stimulated to learn about something which is important in your evolution. Blue corresponds to a released sensitivity and empathy for esthetics experience. People may see you as the calm of the untroubled sea. Contemplation with a pacifying effect, unification and a sense of belonging. Peaceful times are in your future.

Green:
A color of healing, teaching, endurance, firmness, tenacity, constancy, resistance to change, growth and high self-esteem. It brings to mind Spring - the new grass popping up out of the the dark soil, small leaves stretching out from the barren branch-ends in the renewal of life. Your future will be a growing time, a time for renewal. Life springs forth. You are bringing the healing energy into your life. Possessions are regarded as increasing both security and self-esteem. The person putting out this vibration is willing to work in order to gain wealth in terms of educational, cultural or physical attainments.

Yellow:
"Spontaneous" would best describe you. Your future is bound to be thought-provoking. Like the rising sun, yellow brings warmth, variability, expectancy, originality and exhilaration. People see you as cheerful. Yellows are representative of the intellect. Each shade or tine of yellow expresses a different side of the intellect, from the craftiness of a mustard yellow to the high thought of golden yellow. You approach the future with a sense of excitement and joy. You may find yourself the center of attention, with others revolving around you. Radiant and expansive, you represent relaxation, a release from burdens, problems, harassment or restriction. Your energy shines from you like the warmth of the sun, giving happiness and joy to all who stand in the radiance of your smile - and you do smile a lot!

Orange:
Creative and artistic would best describe you. Activity generating energy. Orange is a mixture of red (activity, passion, force of will) and yellow (cheerfulness and intellect). Orange represents energy with mental direction. You are alive, artistic, perceptive and creative. Constructive self-expression is important to you. People see you as up, happy and willing to work. You like to get out and have fun. There is an opportunity to enjoy the sensual pleasures. Orange is known to give way green (healing and growth) after the balancing period is over. Now is the time to go for it.

Red:
Force of will would best describe you. You work hard at what ever you do. Red is the urge to achieve results, to be successful, to push the limits and live life in the fast lane. It is to hungrily desire all those things which offer intensity of living and fullness of experience, conquest, energy-expanding, you put the energy out. Desire, excitability, energy, accomplishment, domination and sexuality are the qualities most important to you. The world sees you as alive, outgoing, sexual and powerful. Fun is ahead for you.
