Pendulums have been used for thousands of years and have many uses. They can be used for divination, finding lost items as well as dowsing. Some people are more naturally adept at using a pendulum, but with a little practice and knowledge, you will be able to work with your pendulum.

For divination purposes, it is best for your mental and physical condition to be calm and fresh. Hold your pendulum in a vertical position and while it is in a neutral (still) state, ask your pendulum to show you a 'yes' answer. Thank your pendulum and return to the neutral state. Then ask your pendulum to show you a 'no' answer. Again thanking your pendulum. We recommend you do this prior to any divination.

For finding a lost item, move the pendulum over the area until the pendulum spins or moves in circles.

For dowsing, holding the pendulum in a vertical position, walk until the pendulum spins. You should find water at that spot. This should also apply when using a map.
